    These pretty cones make a wonderful vintage looking advent calendar that will bring compliments from all your guests.

    Cone template pattern

    I cut down two very large branches from a tree in my backyard, spray painted them silver and added some glitter.

     

    Then I used some vintage music paper and made little cones. I embellished them with trim, ribbon, flowers and vintage buttons. I used chipboard numbers and stickers for the days.

    Tip: in making these cones, punch holes in the back side of the cone so it will hang straight.

    I covered a footed glass vase with burlap to hold the branches.
