Baby Kristin Hat

Inspired by my other hat, the Kristin Ribbed Hat, I designed a baby version of this soft pliable hat. It’s a perfect hat for crisp fall evenings, chilly winter nights and bright spring mornings. The ribbing around the hat and simple bill add a sporty detail.

Crochet this sweet little hat for baby boy or baby girl using any color or color combinations to accent baby’s outfits! This free crochet pattern would also make a thoughtful baby shower gift.

This hat pattern crochets up smooth and easy using Red Heart’s With Love yarn. (I love using this yarn as it glides easily through stitches.) Another favorite yarn of mine for baby patterns is Caron Simply Soft.

*Stitch guide to create larger sizes is marked in parentheses throughout pattern, beginning with ribbing section.
