Be Grateful Craft

This is a famous quote in our house and one that would go great in any home and is so easy to make! It is a quote by the Late President Gordon B. Hinckley who reminded us all to Stand a little taller and Be a little better!

Materials:

Wood Board- Measuring 13"x 17"

1 1/2" framing wood w/ same measurements

Wood Glue

Craft Paint- Off White, Lime, Pink

Foam Brush

Magic Marker

Paint Brush

Flower Cutouts

Directions:

1. Cut wood to Measure 13"x17" (I used pressed wood and had them cut that and the baseboard to frame it 3/4" by 1 1/2" cut the same measurements at the Lowe's store. Note: If you have a chop saw handy at home, it is helpful to make smaller detailed cuts as they are not always able to cut to exact size.

2. White wash wood with off white craft paint, paint frame with a light coat of lime green paint(if you want a faded look there will be less to sand if you do one coat) and let dry.

3. Paint Flower Cutout, click on picture to enlarge for pattern

4. Lightly Sand, clean off with cloth and write Quote.

5. Glue Frame and Flowers and let dry
