Directions:
Here is a free printable of the quote if you do not have any vinyl on hand you can just right click on this picture below and and save to a word doc to print to your favorite color of paper- then Mod Podge to wood.

1. To start this project, cut the wood using a table saw, I raised my blade about 1/2 inch and slant the blade to 8 degrees. It is around 24 inches because my sheet metal is 22 inches square. We have a lot of building going on in our subdivision so I am always checking with the builders for free 2x4’s for crafts- you would be surprised how many things you can make with them. I’ve also seen the 2×4′s at the craft store, they are more expensive than cutting it yourself and you won’t get the amazing sense of accomplishment over using a power tool, but the magnetic picture displays will be beautiful in your home and you’ll be proud no matter where you get the materials!

2. Sand the edges, paint the wood block and let dry. Once it is dry you can apply your vinyl lettering with a squeegee, making sure to layout and tape in place before applying so you know where you want it.

3. With a squeegee apply vinyl one letter at a time moving from the top to bottom of each letter.

4. Now it is time to add your sheet metal- the sheet metal measured 18” and can be found at a metal shop or craft store- I have even found it at Lowe’s and Home Depot before, just make sure it is not flimsy kind so it does not curl and stands firmly on its own in the board. Add pictures and some cute number magnets and you are ready to display!
