Crochet a pair of Bunny Barefoot Sandals for your little rabbit! Adorn little toes with these little bunny faces for Easter or May Day. Too cold for barefoot sandals in your area? No problem!

Slip a finger through the toe loop with the bunny showing on the outside of the hand and tie around the wrist for a unique jewelry accessory perfect for cooler Spring weather.

Skill Level: Easy

Small amount of worsted yarn (I used Caron Simply Soft & Red Heart Shimmer)
US Hook size I/5.50mm
Yarn/tapestry needle

Gauge: not needed

CC = change color
CH = chain
SC = single crochet
HDC = half double crochet
DC = double crochet
JOIN = sl st to first stitch of round
MR = Magic Ring
RND = Round
SL ST = slip stitch

Start your first stitch of each round in the same space as your chain.
Join your round to the first stitch, not your chain.
Chains do not count as stitches in this pattern.

Instructions: (Make two.)
With Pink…
Rnd 1: Magic Ring, sc 6, join. (6)
CC = White (or alternate color)
Rnd 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in each stitch around, join. (12)
Rnd 3: Ch 1, [2 sc in each stitch] 8x, ch 15, sl st to same space, [2 sc in each stitch] 4x, join. (24)
Rnd 4: Ch 6, sl st to 2nd chain from hook, sc, hdc, dc, hdc. Skip 1 stitch, sl st to next stitch, sl st, Ch 6, sl st to 2nd chain from hook, sc, hdc, dc, hdc. Skip 1 stitch, sl st to next stitch.
Break yarn, weave ends.

Ankle Straps: Ch 60, sl st to the back of shamrock, opposite of toe loop, ch 60. Break yarn, trim ends.

Eyes: Add tiny buttons or a simple embroidery knot with black yarn or embroidery floss to create eyes.
Whiskers: On each side of pink nose (Rnd 1) Add simple back stitches or embroidery stiches with black yarn or embroidery floss to create whiskers.
