It is Scarf season! This scarf is very simple and easy. This scarf also has a Candy Cane Hat that can be found here at craftown. This is a thick scarf that can be modified by replacing the SC for HDC, or even DC to thin it out to your liking.

 

Materials: Red Heart Yarn I skein each: Cherry Red and White, Hook Size: H.

CH = Chain

SC = Single Crochet

SK = Skip

BLO = Back loop only

 

With Red Base: CH 3

Red - Row 1: 2 SC in 1st and last CH sp, Ch 1, turn.

Row 2: 2 SC in 1st SC sp, 2 SC, 2 SC in last SC sp, CH 1, turn.

Row 3: 2 SC in 1st SC sp, 4 SC, 2 SC in last SC sp, CH 1, turn.

 

White- Row 4: BLO- 2 SC in 1st SC sp, 6 SC, 2 SC in last SC sp, Ch 1, turn.

Row 5: 2 SC in 1st SC sp, 8 SC, 2 SC in last SC sp, Ch 1, turn.

Row 6: 2 SC in 1st SC sp, 10 SC in last SC sp, CH 1, turn.

 

Red – Row 7: BLO – 2 SC in 1st SC sp, 12 SC, 2 SC in last SC sp, CH 1, turn.

Row 8: 2 SC in 1st SC sp, 14 SC, 2 SC in last SC sp, CH 1, turn.

Row 9: 2 SC in 1st SC sp, 16 SC, 2 SC in last SC sp, CH 1, turn.

 

White – Row 10: BLO – 2 SC in 1st SC sp, 18 SC, 2 SC in last SC sp, CH 1, turn.

Row 11: 2 SC in 1st SC sp, 20 SC, 2 SC in last SC sp, CH 1, turn.

Row 12: 2 SC in 1st SC sp, 22 SC, 2 SC in last SC sp, Ch 1, turn.

 

Red – Row 13: BLO – 2 SC in 1st SC sp, 23 SC, SK next sp, 1 SC, Ch 1, turn.

Row 14: 1 sc in 2nd SC from hook, 23 SC, 2 SC in last SC sp, Ch 1, turn.

Row 15: 2 SC in 1st SC sp, 23 SC, SK 1, 1 SC in last SC sp, CH 1, turn.

 

White – Row 16: BLO - SC in 2nd SC sp, 23 SC, 2 SC in last SC sp, Ch 1, turn.

Row 17: 2 SC in 1st SC sp, 23 SC, SK next SC sp, 1 SC in last SC sp, Ch 1, turn.

Row 18: SC in 2nd SC sp, 23 SC, 2 SC in last SC sp, Ch 1, turn.

Rep rows 13- 18 until desired length is acquired.
