Homemade Pinata
So my 6 year old really wanted to have a Super Hero Birthday Party and really wanted to be Captain America so we turned his frisbee into a shield and made him a helmet and thought it would be fun if we could find a pinata with a similar theme. So off we went to find a Captain America or Super Hero pinata but were surprised when we came up empty handed. I knew I had to use my frugal creative side and try to use something we had or make one so when I saw a sombrero pinata hangin at Winco for $5- it came to me, I could turn that hat into a Captain America Sheild. I was happy to see that it actually turned out pretty good so I thought I would share how I did it- just in case you might be having a Super Hero party too!
Materials:1" Foam Brush
Craft Paint- Red, Blue
Tape
Directions:
**Make sure to stuff with candy before covering Pinata with foil. 1. Cover Pinata with foil and tape with packaging tape around edges to hold in place. 2. Now you have a really cool Super Hero pinata!
