Christmas Cup Cake

1. Styrofoam Ball
2. Assorted Pom-Poms 
3. Cupcake wrapper
4. Ribbon or wire 
5. Craft Glue 
6. Eye Hook

We can use different colored foam balls and pom - poms to depict the flavor of the cake.

By using dark brown pom- poms and placing one red foam ball on the heap, it looks like a chocolate cake with a cherry on its head. By using white foam balls it looks like a vanilla cake. This is one way of doing it. We can use our own creativity and beautify it more. The Christmas tree can be ornamented with many such yummy cup cakes. Let us get started kids.

 

Step 1: Apply glue on each eye hook.

 

 

Step 2: Eye hook is glued at the top of every foam ball.

 

Step 2: The foam balls are placed in such a way that the eye hook is not visible to the viewers.

 

Step 3: The foam balls are glued to the bottom of the cup cake using craft glue.

 

Step 4: Similarly many layers of Foam balls and pom - pom is heaped on the cup cake wrapper.

 

Step 5: Eye hook is glued to every pom -pom as well using the craft glue.

 

Step 6: A ribbon or fishing wire is used to connect all the eye hooks, there by connecting all the foams and pom -poms.

 

Step 7: Red colored pom- poms form the upper layer of the cup cake. It looks as though the cake is topped with cherry.

 

Step 8: Instead of using eye hook to connect all the balls and pom - poms, they can also be sewed together.

 

 

This craft looks so realistic and adorable that people might mistake it to a real cake.
