Christmas Tree - Free Craft Idea

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree, how lovely are your paper branches! What better way to decorate for Christmas time than with a cute paper Christmas tree that your kids can help you make! Use this to accent your holiday decor or give as a whimsical home-made gift to the Christmas tree lover on your list.  This project comes together quick and easy.

Difficulty: Easy

Materials:

Scrap paper - I used baby blue color with snowflake print on it

Cone Shape - I used a foam cone from craft store

Scissors

Hot glue gun

Craft embellishments and Star

Metal stand-(optional)

Directions:

Cut 30 1 and 1/2 by 3 inch pieces. Tearing the edges is optional but adds a cute decorative touch.

Use hot glue gun to apply the paper strips starting from the bottom working up- keeping the rows about 1 and a half inches or so apart. Glue embellishments as you go

Glue to stand or display as is!
