Christmas Wreath Ornament

This free crochet pattern is for a festive Christmas wreath ornament.  This wreath is simple to crochet and fun!   It will work great for an office or neighbor gift, a present topper, stocking stuffer, or simply adorning a tree.  This crochet pattern works up small in size and is nice for beginners.  Crochet your Christmas wreath ornament in green, red, or even white. Have fun!

Difficulty:  Easy

Materials: 

size 10 thread color green and red,

US size 1.8 mm crochet hook,

fabric stiffener,

ribbon and hot glue gun

Instructions:

Wreath: Green

Base: Ch 30, SL to 1^st Ch made to form a ring, Ch 1, turn.

Rnd 1: 60 SC in CH 30 ring, SL to 1^st SC made, Ch 1, turn.

Rnd 2: 4 SC in each of the 60 SC around, SL to 1^st SC made, Ch 2, turn.

Rnd 3: DC around, SL to 1^st DC made, tie off and hide string.

*Stiffen you wreath with fabric stiffener and let completely dry.

Bow: Red

Make 5” chain of red tie off and take and tie a bow.

*Glue bow onto bottom of wreath

*Take a 5” piece of ribbon and glue onto the backside of wreath
