How to make the swirl:
Base: CH 3
Rnd 1: 6 SC in 1st CH made from base, 1 SC in BL, CH 1, SC in BL, CH 1, SC in BL, CH as many Chains as you wish for your design. Leave a long tail
After making your Swirls place on hat in any chosen manner. I placed my swirls on the side of the hat with one swirl with a very long CH tail and ran it down the middle of the design.
Take the tail and attach your darning needle to the end of the tail and sew down the swirls onto the hat. Don’t make the sewing to tight you need to allow it to stretch.
Have fun!
