Free Crochet Patterns - Crochet Valentine Hearts
Just in time for Valentine's Day! How much fun will it be to make some crochet hearts to give away? You can add these little hearts to a gift package as an accent piece, or incorporate them into a design on apparel. You can even use them to hold valentine suckers and poke the stick through the center. If you can think of it for Valentine's Day, or any time you want to show some love to someone special, you can easily utilize this quick and easy crochet pattern!

Difficulty: Easy
Materials: Red and Pink eyelash yarn, Size H crochet hook.
Instructions:
Heart: Red
Base: Ch 3
Row 1: (2SC in next sp) twice, Ch 1, turn.
Row 2: 2 SC in 1st sp, 2 SC, 2 SC in last sp, Ch 1, turn.
Row 3: 6 SC, CH 1, turn.
Row 4: 2 SC in 1st sp, 4 sc, 2 SC in last sp, CH 1, turn.
Row 5: 8 SC, Ch 1, turn.
Row 5: SK1 sp, 5 DC in next sp, SK 1 sp, 2 SC, SK 1 sp, 5 DC in next sp, SK 1 sp, SC, Tie off.
Perimeter: Pink
Rnd 1: *SC, CH 3, Rep from * around perimeter, (SC, Ch 3, SC, Ch3) in the corner, and SL to 1st SC made tie off and hide string.
Optional:
Make 2 heart motifs and place the back to back, going through both hearts at once do the perimeter. Before you finish the perimeter you stuff with poly-fil, finish the stitching and tie off.
