This kids craft combines the best of both worlds with quick and easy step-by-step instructions showing you how to make these super cute cupcake flowers and the cutest handprint flower pot to display them in!  You will love giving or receiving this pretty keepsake.

Difficulty: Easy

Materials:

Mini Cupcake Liners

Craft sticks- I used mini dowel sticks

Craft paint

Foam Brush

Small Bucket

Directions:

To make the flowers- start by painting your craft sticks green using a foam craft brush and then set aside to dry. I bought my craft sticks, cupcake liners, and bucket at Micheals in one of their dollar bins but you can probably find ones similar at just about any local Craft Store. Craft stores do tend to have the most colorful and affordable mini cupcake liners compared to grocery stores but another option if you want to use ones you have on hand- have your kiddos paint or color them so you don't have to rush out and buy any if you already have some that will work.

Once the craft sticks are dry, you can make the flower by poking the end of the craft stick into the center bottom of the cupcake liner. You can glue them in place or just leave them- they tend to stay in place on their own pretty well but will not stay in place if you poke too big of a hole.

For the handprint bucket you will want to use puffy paint or waterproof paint so that it will stay. Also, when making your handprint - make sure to push the palm of the hand down firmly first followed by the fingers for a better handprint. Fill with flowers and enjoy!
