Free Crochet Flower patterns - Daffodil Applique

 

 Easy! Fun! Flower Appliqué. It is great for hats, headbands, and even sweaters. It measures about 2” wide. You can Mix up the flower and have a White base and made the cone of the flower yellow as well.

 

CH = Chain

SL = Slip Stitch

SLO = Slip Stitch Only

FLO = Front Loop Only

SC = Single Crochet

HDC = Half Double Crochet

TR = Treble Crochet

 

Materials: Bernat Baby Soft Yarn – Lemon. Hook Size: G/6

Base: Ch 6, Sl to 1^st CH made, turn.

Rnd 1 FLO: * CH 3, SL, Rep from * 5 more times (make sure the last SL is right next to the 1^st Ch made), Ch 1, turn.

Rnd 2: * In CH 3 sps (1 SC, 1 HDC, 1 TR, 1 HDC, 1 SC), rep from * in next 5 CH 3 sps, SL to 1^st SC made on 1^st peddle, Should have 6 peddles.

Cone:

Rnd 3: Connect Yarn by *SC through CH 3 sp from Rnd 1 and Center of Flower. Rep from * in every Ch 3 sp and same center sp of flower. This will give you 6 SC, SL to 1^st SC made, CH 1, turn.

Rnd 4: *2 SC in next sp, 1 SC, Rep from * around, CH 1, turn.

Rnd 5: * 2 SC in next sp, 1 SC, Rep from * around, CH 1, turn.

Rnd 6: SLO around top of flower, Tie off and hide String.
