Decoupaged Gift Boxes
This pretty little boxes are perfect for filling with candy or other treats. Great for teacher gifts, for a coworker or even your boss!
You will need- Small boxes with lids
- Patterned scrapbook papers
- Mod Podge
- Paintbrush
- Scissors
- Ribbon or paint (optional)
What you do
Begin by tracing your box lid onto the desired scrapbook paper.
Cut out the lid tracing, cutting away about 1/8" inside the tracing line so that the paper is just a little bit smaller than the actual lid.
Apply Mod Podge to the back of the paper and to the lid. Place the paper onto the lid, smooth it out, then paint more Mod Podge over the top.
Repeat this process to cover the box as well. If you would like to embellish the box, you can use buttons, ribbon, rick rack or other decorative items.
