Step 1: Getting Started

 

Perfect for Easter! Crochet the Easter bunny for your kids or for a great Easter decoration! He would also make a thoughtful homemade gift for someone special.  Our Easter bunny is made from Caron Simply Soft yarn.  His pattern is straight forward and works up easily.  Happy Easter!

Difficulty: Intermediate

Materials: Caron Simply Soft Yarn: White, Sunshine, and Blue Mint, Size H crochet hook, Poly Fill, La mode buttons #1784 (eyes), DMC Floss Black, and needle.

With White Yarn: Take an outer ear and inner ear motif and place them together. SC around the entire perimeter

Do this Twice to make 2 complete ears.

Step 5: Assembly and Finishing

How to Assemble Bunny:

Take a darning needle and yarn.

1st: Sew the head to the body is shown manner

Head and Body

2nd: Take the arms and attach darning needle to end of tail and use that to sew the arms into place.

Arms

3rd: Take the legs and attach darning needle to end of tail and use that to sew the legs into place.

Legs

4th:   With White Yarn Sew the Ears into place on each side of the head.

Ears

5th: Wrap vest around bunny. Take long strap wrap around the back of bunny and sew the end of the strap around bunny to other side of vest along row 31-33. Also, sew the front of vest together.

Vest

With Regular Needle and black thread Sew the button eyes on.

With DMC Black Floss Embroider a nose and mouth onto the face.
