Epsom Salt Ornaments

These pretty Christmas ornaments have a secret ingredient, epsom salts! This is a fun project that is pretty enough for adults and simple enough for kids. Everyone can get in on the fun!

What you need

• Ball ornament
• Mod Podge or white craft glue
• Paintbrush
• Epsom salts
• Pen or paintbrush
• Styrofoam cup
• Clear sealer spray, gloss finish

What you do

Remove the hanger from the ball ornament and set aside. Use a paintbrush to add Mod Podge or glue all over the ornament.

Roll the ornament in epsom salts making sure to cover all areas. Use a pen or a paintbrush to hold the ornament.

Poke a hole in the bottom of a Styrofoam cup and insert the pen holding the ornament into the hole and set aside to dry.

When dry, use a paintbrush to add a generous second coat of Mod Podge or glue.

Then roll again in the epsom salts. Let dry completely, knock off any excess and add a coat of sealer.
