Fathers Day Blocks

Father's Day is just around the corner and we know your dad rocks! These word blocks are sure to do add a smile to any father's face and cheer up any office desk or man cave! The Father's Day blocks can be made in minutes using materials you may already have on hand or buy for next to nothing. Upcycling wood and paper into unique fun homemade gifts is rewarding and budget friendly!

Materials:

2x4 Blocks

Craft Paint

Foam Brush

Mod Podge

Scrapbook paper

Printed quote or Vinyl lettering, you can also use die cut letters

Sandpaper for edges of the blocks

Directions:

Paint Blocks in your favorite coordinating craft paint color and set aside to dry. While paint is drying, cut craft paper to size using a paper cutter and scissors to round your corners.

Next, when all paint is dry, sand edges using sand paper or hand sander and clean with a rag to remove any excess dust from the front surface of the block to prepare for Mod Podge and Vinyl. 

Glue Scrapbook paper to block using Mod Podge and foam brush. Smooth out any air bubbles before glue is completely dry. Add lettering using Mod Podge and foam brush and seal with Mod Podge.
