Step 1: Getting Started

Who doesn't love flowers in the Spring and Summertime? Especially ones you can make to last all year round! These felt flowers are not only popular but are so easy and fun to make. What's even better is that they can be made with a glue gun instead of sewing - a huge plus in my book.  I do have to warn you - they are addictive! Create these felt flowers in a variety of colors and sizes and unleash your creativity.

Difficulty: Easy

Materials:
Felt
scissors
Glue - tacky glue or glue gun

Step 2: First Step

Instructions:

First, cut 5 flowers, descending in size, from your felt. My largest flower is about 4 inches and smallest is about 1.5 inches. If you are making more than one, you can stack your felt and cut several layers at once- this is a great time saving tip. Keep in mind, the flowers do not have to be perfect by any means and if you are not comfortable eyeballing them you can always draw them out before you cut them.

Step 3: Next Step

Next, stack your pieces, largest on the bottom and smallest at the very top. Adding a dab of glue to the middle of each flower as you go.

Step 4: Final Step

Now, you are ready to glue some bling or a button to the top and there you have it, a pretty flower! Hot glue a clip to the back and you can make a rose scarf, hair clips, brooches, the sky is the limit!
