Felt Ornaments

Felt crafts are popular these days and felt ornaments are no exception. With some felt scraps and a little bit of hand sewing you will have these cute ornaments done in no time!  Give them as a sweet stocking stuffer or handmade gift or keep them to decorate your Christmas tree and home with.  (You may even be able to include your kids to help!)

Materials:

Felt

Needle and thread

Scissors

Hot glue

Batting

Ribbon for hanging

Instructions:

Step 1: Trace or draw a favorite shape onto felt- making sure to cut 2 (one for top and one for the bottom) and cut. I used a a different contrasting fabric for the front and sewed it to an off white felt.

Step 2: Stitch with thread and needle and when you are almost finished- leave a hole big enough to stuff batting through and finish stitching. 

Step 3: Hot glue buttons to the top and ribbon to the back and they are ready to hang!
