Step 1: Getting Started
Spring is in the air so why not make this bright flower-inspired Spring blanket! This is a simple crochet shell type pattern and would make a great gift anytime of year and any occasion. The flowers are optional but add an extra touch sweetness to the pattern! Unleash your creativity!
Size approximately 30" X 30".
Difficulty: Easy
Materials: Use 3 - 4 skeins of worsted weight yarn. Size J crochet hook
Pattern:
Chain 83.
Row 1: In the 5th chain from hook work (sc, hdc, dc); *skip next 2 chains, in next ch work (sc, hdc, dc);repeat from * across to last 3 chains; skip next 2 chains, dc in last chain. Chain 2, turn.
Row 2: In next dc work (sc, hdc, dc); * sk next 2 sts, in next dc work (sc, hdc, dc); rep from * to beg 4 skipped chs; sk next 2 chs, dc in next ch. Ch 2, turn.
Row 3 (right side): * In next dc work (sc, hdc, dc); sk next 2 sts; rep from * to turning ch-2; dc in 2nd ch of turning ch. Turn.
Repeat row 3 for desired length. At end of last row finish off.

Step 2: Finishing Up
Flower Instructions:
Magic Loop.
Ch 2, *3 dc, ch1, repeat from * 3 times. Sl st to first dc. (12 Dc)
Rnd 1: *sc, [hdc, 2 dc, hdc] in next sp, repeat from * 5 times. Sl st to first sc. (30 sts)

Attach your favorite crocheted flowers with a darning or sewing needle.
