Step 1: Getting Started

This a great magnet board craft for all you kitchen geniuses! What's even better is that it can be made using craft supplies you may already have on hand. I love the flexibility of this easy magnet craft, in that you can mix and match colors and use whatever you have on hand, including vinyl stickers and scrapbooking supplies.

Another great use of this craft: as a thoughtful handmade gift for the gourmet guru in your circle of friends or family. The recipe magnet board is such an elegant way to display all the wonderful, delicious recipes in your recipe box!

Difficulty: Easy

Materials:

Sheet Metal- Lowes or craft store
Vinyl lettering
Craft paint
Scrapbook paper
Wood board
Foam brush
Permanent Glue
Mod Podge

Step 2: Instructions

Directions:

Step 1:
Paint your wood block and let dry. While paint is drying, add vinyl to your sheet metal- or if you prefer you can cover your whole sheet metal with scrapbook paper and add vinyl to the top.

Step 2:
Once your paint is dry you will want to glue the corners of your sheet metal to the board using permanent glue.

Step 3:
Now it’s time to add your scrapbook paper and clothespin. Do this by cutting your paper with a paper cutter and gluing to the sheet metal using Mod Podge and a foam brush. Make sure to smooth any air bubbles out with a squeegee or card before glue dries. Use permanent glue to glue clothespin and you are ready to put your recipe board to use!
