Thanksgiving Craft - Free Project Idea
The Gratitude Jar is a great craft idea for the holidays and a tradition in our home. We decided to start this one year so we could teach our kids to have an “attitude of gratitude.” Starting the first of November we have each person in the family write something every day on a small piece of paper that they are grateful for that day. When we get to Thanksgiving Day we read them out loud at our Thanksgiving Feast! It is a simple craft to make, but definitely time well spent and a great family tradition!
Difficulty: EasyRibbon
Scissors
Jar with lid
Directions:
For this project I found a jar at a local Thrift store for a few dollars and would highly recommend a Thrift or dollar store for your jar craft supplies otherwise it will add up.
1. To start wash and dry jar well,
2. Apply vinyl making sure to move slowly with squeegee- starting from the lower corner moving to the other smoothing out any air bubbles along the way.
3. Once vinyl is applied, measure ribbon by wrapping around the neck of the jar- leaving extra length for a bow and cut. Enjoy your gratitude jar!
