Make some fun bean bags to play with. The kids will love these and there are so many games that can be played. They are soft and won't hurt if accidentally hit by one.
You will need
A variety of fabric squares, all cut to be 5"x 5"
Dried beans, rice or bird seed
What you do
Put two of your squares right sides together

What you do
Put two of your squares right sides together
Stitch around all the edges leaving a gap of about 2 inches to turn
Clip the corners
Turn through and press
Top stitch 1/8" from the edge leaving the gap open for filling
Fill with "beans"
Pin to hold the seeds in while you top stitch the gap closed
