Materials: Redheart Black Yarn, Size I Crochet Hook, and plastic canvas.

 

SL = Slip Stitch

CH = Chain

SC = Single Crochet

DC = Double Crochet

SC2tog = Single Crochet 2 stitches together

 

Instructions:

Base: Ch 3

Rnd 1: 8 SC in 1st Ch made, Sl to 1st SC made, CH 1, turn.

Rnd 2: 2 SC in each sp around, Sl to 1st SC made, Ch 1, turn. (16)

Rnd 3: *SC, 2 SC in next sp, Rep from * around, SL to 1st SC made, Ch 1, turn. (24)

Rnd 4: * 3 SC, 2 SC in next sp, rep from * around SL to 1st SC made, CH 1, turn. (30)

Rnd 5: *4 SC, 2 SC in next sp, Rep from * around SL to 1st SC made, CH 1, turn. (36)

Rnd 6: SC around, Sl to 1st SC made, CH 1, turn.

Row 21: 4 SC, Ch 1, turn.

Row 22: (SC2tog) twice, Ch 1, turn.

Cut out 2 plastic canvas ears in the shape of the Ear part 1.

Sew the two ear motifs together around edge to make a pocket for the plastic canvas, hide all strings and sew ears to each side of head.
