
Knit Winter Headband - Knitting Pattern
Cute and warm! This knitted easy headband will keep your ears warm and still be stylish! This is a Simple and easy pattern to follow. The head band is 18” long but Stretches to fit most head sizes. The patterns can be easily altered to fit any sized head.
Materials: SPA Yarn: Misty Taupe, Cable Needle, Knitting Needle Size 4 mm, #1803 Shellz Shell buttons or Buttons of your choice.
P = Purl
YO = Yarn Over
K2tog = Knit 2 together
Cast on 26 sts.
Row 1: K26.
Row 2: P5, K16, P5.
(Button Row)Row 3: K1, Put 2 sts on Cable and hold in front of work, K2 from left needle, K2 from cable, YO, K2tog, K6, YO, K2tog, K4, K2tog, YO, Put 2 sts on cable and hold in front of work, K2 from left needle, K2 from cable, K1.
Row 4: P5, K16, P5.
Row 5: K 26.
Row 6: P5, K16, P5.
Row 7: K1, Put 2 sts on Cable and hold in front of work, K2 from left needle, K2 from cable, K16, Put 2 sts on Cable and hold in front of work, K2 from left needle, K2 from cable, K1.
Row 8: P5, K16, P5.
Row 9: K26.
Row 10: P5, K16, P5.
Repeat rows 7-10 until headband measures: 18” long.
Sew 3 Bottoms opposite of end button holes on right side.
Hide strings and you are finished!
