A little bit of glitter paint goes a long way in this dainty Christmas ornament with a fancy flair. The glitter paint creates a lovely brilliance on a back drop of twinkle lights, a beautiful addition to your holiday tree!

You will need

  • Glass or plastic clear ball ornament
  • Green glitter paint
  • 2-3" piece of lace
  • Hot glue gun
  • Styrofoam cup
  • Paper plate

What you do

Remove hanger from ornament and set aside. Squeeze some glitter paint inside the ornament. Don't use too much, a little goes a long way.

1

Place your finger over the opening of the ornament and shake to distribute the glitter paint all over the inside of the ball.

2

Poke a hole in the bottom of the Styrofoam cup and place the cup onto a paper plate. Insert the open end of the ornament into the hole in the Styrofoam cup. Allow the ornament to drain out the excess paint. Check it periodically. If the paint clogs the opening the paint on the inside will not be able to dry. Clear the opening and allow it to continue to drain and dry.

3

Hot glue the lace around the top of the ornament then replace the hanger.
