Magnetic Countdown - Halloween Craft

Magnetic Countdown

This is a great way for the whole family to count down the days till their favorite Spooky Night!

Materials:

12x12 Scrapbook paper

12x12 Sheet metal

Craft board

Vinyl Calender cutout

Ribbon

Craft magnets

Tiles

Directions:

Step 1: Begin by gluing sheet metal to pressed craft board to add extra thickness and support to calender. I used a permanent craft glue to keep the metal from separating from the board.

Step 2: Glue scrapbook paper to sheet metal, use a squeegee or card to flatten surface and smooth bubbles out from the glue. Apply vinyl calender onto paper once glue has dried using squeegee starting at one corner of the calender and working slowly down the vinyl to each corner, finishing at the last bottom corner.

Step 3: Add Countdown lettering using scrapbook paper and Mod Podge. Drill holes in corners and add ribbon tying knots in each corner. The tile magnets can be found in the Halloween and Christmas Craft section under "Countdown magnets".
