Skill level: Beginner

50 yards of three different colors or sport to Worsted weight yarn. To make it a Mardi gras necklace use bright green, gold and purple.  Eyelash or other novelty yarns work great for this project.
2 size 7 dpns.
Yarn needle
Large decorative button or pin

Special notes: This project is made with 3 I cords. To make a I cord after you cast on the required stitches  slide the stitches down to the right tip of the needle. DO NOT TURN WORK. Bring the yarn from the back knit the 4 stitches, and repeat


Cord (make 3)
Cast on 4 stitches.
Working I cord for 48 inches then cast off.

Putting it all together:
Once you have all three cords made sew the first 3 ends together. You can either braid the cords or lightly twist them. Sew the other end together and then sew to first end to make a necklace. Add you pin or button, weave in ends and enjoy!
