Patriotic Butterfly
This cute little Crocheted Butterfly arrived just in time for the 4th of July! It is one of our many free Crochet Patterns and is made from embroidery floss so it is not only inexpensive to make but it is also very easy, if you know how to use a crochet hook it can be done in about 5 minutes!
Materials:
Embroidery floss
Size C hook
Directions:
Ch 4. Sl st into first ch to form a ring.
Ch 3, work 3tr into ring. Ch 3, sl st into ring.* Repeat once.
Fasten off. Create abdomen and antennae. To create the abdomen and antennae, cut a coordinating piece of thread or yarn about six inches long. Leaving a short tail, wrap the piece around the middle of the butterfly twice. Tie ends in a double knot. Trim antennae.
