Photo Display Block

Make a picture display out of 2x4 wood blocks! This is a great way to make a picture display that is interchangeable and affordable! This wood block picture display may be easily incorporated into any decor; on a mantel, in a window sill, as a grouping or even a table centerpiece.  These also make great homemade gifts for special loved ones.  This is a classy way to display your photos of family and can be made in about 15 minutes!

Difficulty: Easy

Materials:
Wood block- any size will work
Scrapbook paper
Scissors or straight edge cutter
Mod Podge
Glue Gun
Ribbon
Photo

Instructions:

Step 1- Gather all materials and cut block to desired length- lightly sand block and set aside to paint.

 Step 2- Paint sides of blocks and let dry. Using a pen, trace block onto craft paper and cut. 

Step 3- Apply craft paper to board using a foam craft brush and Mod Podge. You can sand the edges with sand paper but that is optional.

Step 4- Measure and cut Ribbon to go around front and back of block. Hot Glue ribbon to back of block and make sure it is tight enough to stay in place.

Step 5- Once ribbon is in place, print picture and cut to size- about 3"x5" to fit and your picture is ready to display!
