Step 1: Getting Started

Who doesn't love pumpkin decor for fall? Add this one to your harvest table as part of a centerpiece, or as a pretty accent on a mantle or shelf this holiday season.  Our wood pumpkin is simple and fun to create, and can be made in minutes. Make one or two and share a few with your friends too!

Difficulty: Easy

Wood blocks - I used a 4x4 block
Craft Paint
Foam Brush
Hot glue gun
Old unused stamps

Step 2: Craft Tutorial

Step 1: Cut and sand your blocks and prepare them for painting. I painted my blocks white first because the orange paint I had on hand was a little dark so I thought the white would lighten it up but it really does not need to be done- you can just start with orange.

Step 2: Paint all sides and top of your blocks using craft paint and a foam brush. When paint is dry- lightly sand edges for a more rustic look. Add lines to the front of the block using a pencil and a straight edge paper or ruler.

Step 3: Using your hot glue gun- glue a small wooden block to the top for the stump. I used old wornout stamps that were no longer being used and removed the bottom where the stamp was before attaching, but you can use any block shape you have on hand. When glue is dry you are ready to display your cute little pumpkins!
