Ribbon Charm Bracelet

Need a quick, easy and thoughtful gift?  Ribbon Bracelets and Necklaces are popular in stores right now but can easily be made at home with materials you may already have on hand, at a fraction of the cost.  All you need is some pretty ribbon, any color or style, and some charms, embellishments, or other decorative beads and buttons and a little wire or thread to hold it in place.  This pretty ribbon charm bracelet is so simple and fun to make. 

Difficulty: Easy

Materials:

a heart-shaped charm (or beads)

ribbon

craft wire or needle and thread

 

Directions:

1. Cut and fold ribbon in half to find your center and lay your charm in place.  You will want to make sure to cut extra ribbon to tie the bracelet on with a bow. You can use a craft wire to thread charm to ribbon or with a needle and thread fasten charm to ribbon. 

2. To fasten with wire you can use the wire to thread through the ribbon and twist tight with needle nose pliers on the opposite side of the charm or tie a double knot if using needle and thread. Once you have finished fastening on the charm, hot glue a small dot of fabric or felt to hold in place over the knot or wire.

3. Tie a bow at the end and you have a fashionable bracelet!
