Our peachy-keen spring afghan is a pretty option as a light throw for spring or fall! It also makes a great baby gift any time of year. This simple crochet pattern for a baby blanket is great for beginners. Not only does it come together quickly, if you know how to single and double crochet - you can easily make this blanket. Use 3 - 4 skeins of worsted weight yarn 

Size J crochet hook

Gauge: not given



Chain 83.

Row 1: In the 5th chain from hook work (sc, hdc, dc); *skip next 2 chains, in next ch work (sc, hdc, dc);repeat from * across to last 3 chains; skip next 2 chains, dc in last chain.  Chain 2, turn.

Row 2: In next dc work (sc, hdc, dc); * sk next 2 sts, in next dc work (sc, hdc, dc); rep from * to beg 4 skipped chs; sk next 2 chs, dc in next ch. Ch 2, turn. 

Row 3 (right side): * In next dc work (sc, hdc, dc); sk next 2 sts; rep from * to turning ch-2; dc in 2nd ch of turning ch. Turn.

Repeat row 3 for desired length. At end of last row finish off.
