Ah, Spring is in the air!  It's that time of year: start getting your flower pots out and decorating for Springtime.  "But my flower pots are drab and boring," you say?  These cute flower pots make a great display for Spring decor, inside or outside.  And they double as a sweet gift for anytime of year!  (Fill the pots with treats, seed packets, or even office supplies as a teacher/coworker gift.)

2. Paint pots with craft paint and let dry. To achieve the sponged look use a craft sponge brush and starting with white paint cover entire outside of pot and then let dry, followed by lighting sponging different shades of green then set aside to dry.

3. If you have any scrapbook paper or gift tags on hand you can create some cute labels in no time by measuring and cutting to fit the front size of the pot. You can also print the labels here. Use a Pen or Scrapbook marker to write on the front and of the labels- I wrote "Love Grows Here" on mine but again, the labels are optional.

Apply labels to pot with craft sponge and Mod Podge and fill pot with your favorite Spring flower.

You can display your cute pots on a counter or in a cute potholder like this one I found at a Thrift Store.
