This is a darling Skirt. It is meant to be worn over black leggings. This is a medium skill level. This Skirt Fits a 2-3T girl. It has hip size of 22” and waist of 20”. Can’t pass on this one!

 

Materials: 2 Skeins - Spa Yarn: Natural, ½” waist band about 20” long, Darning needle.

 

SL = Slip Stich

CH = Chain

SC = Single Crochet

DC = Double Crochet

TR = Treble Crochet

CC = Crazy Cluster: TR In st , but leaving 2 loops on hook, DC around TR and complete stitch, CH 1, TR around 1st TR again leaving 2 loops on hook, DC around just made TR and complete the st.

 

Waist band:

Base: Ch 108, SL to 1st CH made, CH 1, turn.

Rnd 1-9: SC around, SL to 1st SC made, Ch 1 turn.

Ribbon holes:

Rnd 10: 1 SC, Ch 2, Sk 1 sp, 104 SC, Ch 2, Sk 1 sp, 1 SC, SL to 1st SC made, Ch 1, turn.

 

Body of Skirt:

Rnd 11: 2 SC, 1 SC in CH 2 sp, SC around to next CH 2 sp, 1 SC I Ch 2 sp, SL to 1st SC made, CH 1, turn.

Rnd 12: Rep Rnd 1.

Take waist band and fold down and take a darning needle and sew Rnd 1 to rnd 10. Leave a 2 inch hole open.

Take ½” wide and 20” long waist band and run inside the waist of the skirt. Sew the two end of the Waist band together and finish sewing up Rnd 1 to Rnd 12.

The two holes made in Rnd 10 are for the black ribbon to go through. Tie a bow and Sew down if you would like or leave it loose to change colors to match different outfits; the Bow is to be worn in the back.
