This cute and easy pattern for a Striped Winter Scarf that will make a great gift for the Holidays!  Knit up this fun and easy scarf pattern as you enjoy a winter evening with friends and family.  It could easily be used for a beginner’s pattern in a knitting circle or a girls’ crafting night, or maybe even a family holiday craft.  The simple knitted pattern and suggested yarn make it fun and easy to learn.  Plus, you will have a fabulous scarf to give as a gift, office Secret Santa present, stocking stuffer, or keep all to yourself to accessorize your winter outdoor gear!

Difficulty: Easy

Materials:

Worsted Weight Yarn in 2 different colors

Needles: size 10.5

Pattern Instructions:

Cast on 17 stitches. K1p, alternating between 2 rows of natural yarn and 2 rows of handspun yarn, slipping the first stitch of each row.

Size: 5 inches by 84 inches

Notes: The Sedona yarn was really great to work with. It's a nubby thick worsted and really soft. I'd definitely use it again.  Now, I think I'm a little hooked on handspun yarn!
