Homemade Tool Box
This is a great wood craft idea that my son made for his younger brother for Christmas. We started doing homemade gifts for the kids to give each other when funds were tight and the kids ended up enjoying it more than buying gifts, so it has been a tradition in our family ever since! This toolbox makes a great gift for birthdays as well! (It can be put to many good uses from tools and craft supplies to toys and game keepers.)
Difficulty: Easy to Intermediate
Materials:
Wood (5 1x6's)
18' Dowel
Nails
Hammer
Instructions:
Step 1: Cut wood pieces to size (you will need 2 171/2" long for the sides and one 16" long for the bottom and 2 10" long for the ends where the handles attach). Cut off corners of the 10" pieces and drill a hole in them large enough for dowel piece.
