Turkey Handprint Plate

Looking for a special home-made craft to make that is fun and easy for the kids to help with?  Try out this handprint plate to keep for your home or to give as a thoughtful and cherished gift to grandparents and special loved ones.  The nice thing about this project is that it can be adapted to fit a number of different holidays or themes.  This one features a turkey, but you could apply the same technique to create a reindeer, valentine, or even an Easter chic.  This super-cute handprint plate craft will become a treasured keepsake to add to your Holiday décor!

Materials:

Plate

Craft Paint- Brown, Red, Yellow, and Orange

Foam Brush

Acrylic Finishing Spray

Directions:

Paint kids' hand using brown paint and a foam brush and each finger with each corresponding color. Place childs hand on the plate rolling from the palm to the fingers and press firmly. You can use your finger to fill in any holes or gaps if needed- and there you have a cute and easy keepsake.
