Valentine Table Mat

Valentine Table Mats are a fun way to celebrate Valentines. This Crochet Table Mat Measures 15 ½ x 11 ½” and made from Sugar ‘N Cream yarn. It requires being able to switch colors and use colors at the same time. It is always fun to sit at the table with a holiday tablemat.

Materials: One Skein each of Sugar ‘N Cream yarn: Rose Pink and Damask Ombre, Hook Size: H,

CH = Chain

SL = Slip Stitch

SC = Single Crochet

DC = Double Crochet

SK = Skip

P = Using Pink Colored Yarn

D = Using Damask Ombre Colored Yarn

Base (P): CH 58, turn.

Row1-7: 57 SC, CH 1, turn.

Row 8-11 (D): 57 SC, CH 1, turn.

Row 12-13 (P): 57 SC, CH 1, turn.

Row 14: (P) 28 SC, (D) 1 SC, (P) 28 SC, CH1, turn.

Row 15: (P) 27 SC, (D) 3 SC, (P) 27 SC, CH 1, turn.

Row 16: (P) 26 SC, (D) 5 SC, (P) 26 SC, CH 1, turn.

Rnd 48: SLO around entire place mat and tie off, hide string.

(Optional) At the top and Bottom of place mat do the following for scallops.

Tie String to top right corner:

Top and bottom of mat: * 1 SC, Sk next sp, 3 dc in next sp, Sk next sp, Rep from * to end, tie off and hide string.
