Step 1: Getting Started

That includes keeping yourself and your loved ones toasty even when they have to venture out into cold weather. Use our free knitting pattern to create this warm and cozy cowl with a yarn and color of your choice. Difficulty: Easy

Approx.  200 yards of yarn.
Size10  24 inch knitting needle
Stitch marker
Yarn needle

Stitches used:
K = Knit
P= purl

Gauge:  In this project gauge isn’t super important. You are looking for a nice feeling yarn, not to stiff and not to sloppy, but just right.


Step 2: Pattern Instructions


Instructions for Cowl:
Cast on 120 stitches, join in the round being careful not to twist the yarn.
Round 1: Knit around
Round 2: K 2, Purl 2 around.
Repeat these two round until your piece measures 8 inches or desired length.
Ending with round 1.
Cast off loosely in knit. Block as desired.
