Witch's Hat Cute Cakes

Inspired by the marriage of cupcakes and petits fours, Cute Cakes are delightful, yummy and fun to eat. Cute Cakes are soft and moist, made with the finest quality all natural ingredients.  In this recipe, we create the perfect Halloween treat with the chocolate cute cakes.

Witch's Hat Cute Cakes

12 chocolate Donsuemor Cute Cakes
2 cups white frosting, tinted orange with orange food coloring
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons shortening
12 bugle chips
12 chocolate wafer cookies

Frost the Cute Cakes with a layer of orange frosting.  Next, in a medium sauce pan over medium heat, gently melt the shortening and the chocolate chips.  Carefully dip each bugle in the melted chocolate and then place it on the chocolate wafer. Repeat with the remaining bugles.  Chill the “Witches Hats” in the refrigerator for 5 minutes. Then place each one on top of the cupcakes.
