Materials: Lion Brand Discover Yarn; 30 ozs. of
Fisherman, No. 98 - Color A; 6 ozs. of Colonial Blue, No. 109 - Color B; 6 ozs.
of Pastel Yellow, No. 157 - Color C; 6 oxs. of Red, No. 112 - Color D; 6 ozs. of
Emerald Green, No. 130 - Color E; Crochet hook, Size K ( or size to get given
gauge).
Gauge: (5 dc = 2" and 4 rows =
3")
Pattern: Starting at one end of blanket, with A chain

First Stripe:
Row 1: Dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in each ch
across, ch 3, turn - 130 dc, counting turning ch at beg of row as 1 dc.
Row 2: Dc in each dc across, ch 3, turn. Work 2
more rows color A, but on last dc of 4th row draw up a loop of color B in last
step of st, cut off color A, ch 3 with new color, turn.
Next Stripe: With color B repeat 4-row stripe as
for Row 2. Continue stripe pat as follows: Color A, color C, color A, color D,
color A, color E. Always draw up last loop of last st of 4th row of each stripe
with new color.
Center Section: With A work 35 rows.
Now repeat stripe pat at opposite end of blanket,
reversing colors as follows: Color E, color A, color D, color A, color C, color
A, color B, color A.
Weave in loose ends.
