"Coffee Filter Angel" Craft
Project
Kindly Contributed by: Victoria Nugent rnugent@iceweb.net
You will need:
coffee filters;
small styrofoam balls;
gold or silver craft wedding rings (found in craft stores.); small red or green ribbon;
hot glue; glue gun; white raffia.
What to do:
Place a Styrofoam ball in the middle of one of the coffee filters, gather
the filter around the ball, to make the head of the angel, tie a piece of ribbon
around the underneath of the head of the angel, tie into a bow, you can decide
how long to make the ribbon, or how big of a bow to tie.
hot glue a wedding ring on top of the head of the angel for the halo. I usually
just lay it flat, or you can place it whichever way you think it looks best,
then take a piece of your raffia and make a strip about 3 or 4 inches long,
unravel it and twist or pinch it in the middle this will be the angels wings. Hot
glue this on the back of your angel. You can leave these little angels white or
spray paint them any color you would like.
A friend of mine told me about this little craft, I hope I have written the
directions good enough for you to understand them, I made about 4 dozen of these
and hung them on my Christmas tree. Happy Crafting!
