Patriotic Angel" Craft Project

Materials: 1 Provo Craft wooden pull string angel (available at craft supply stores); Variety color pack of paint marker pens; some free hand painting ability. Size: 5 1/2".

Instruction: Note; The angel has pull strings so you will need to pull the strings to open her wings when painting them.

1. Color hair color of choice, then carefully paint on facial features as desired.

2. Draw tiny stars on the collar of angel dress as shown in photo with a pencil or fine point pen. Then color in all around the stars carefully with navy blue marker pen.

3. Paint red stripes evenly spaced across bottom portion of angel dress as shown. The plain wood acts as the white stripes.

4. Draw an arced line across angel ankles to create a shoe illusion. Fill in shoe area with navy blue marker pen. Add stripes as for bottom of dress above shoes for socks.

5. Wings will have to be manipulated while painting the red stripes on them as they move. Be sure to reach in as far as possible with your stripes so when the wings are opened, they will be striped to the inside ends.
