"Paper Angel Ornament" - Free Craft Projects

Instruction: Start with a 20 x 20" square of tissue paper, fold it into a triangle, and starting at the wide end, fold the paper over an over until you have a strip about 1/2" wide. Press the strips with your fingers and apply gloss polymer medium as you fold. (This serves as an adhesive as well as a gloss finish). To form the body of this angel, roll the strips into circle and oval.

The angel is made by rolling the tissue paper strips into an oval about 6" high. Use part of another strip for the dress outline. Roll three pink strips into a circle for the head and glue to the body. Make wings and halo by gluing four sheets of tissue paper together. Cut out wings and halo and coat with gloss medium. Glue to body and head.
