Crochet Patterns - Easy Baby Blanket
Materials: Bernat Pompadour (1
oz. pull skeins) - 4 each of Main Color (MC) and Contrasting Color (CC); 1
aluminum crochet hook size K or any size hook which will provide the stitch
gauge below.
Gauge: 3 sc = 1"; 3 rounds = 1".
Rnd 1: Using 1 strand each of MC and CC, ch 13.
Work 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each of next 10 ch, 3 sc in last ch;
continuing on other side of foundation ch, work 1 sc in each of next 10 ch, 2 sc
in last ch 26 sc.
Rnd 2: Working In Back Loops Only, 1 sc in
next st, mark this st for corner st, 1 sc in each of next 11 sc, mark last st
for corner st, 1 sc in each of next 2 sc, mark last st for corner st, 1 sc in
each of next 11 sc, mark last sc for corner st, 1 sc in next st, join with sl st
in next sc - 26 sc.
Rnd 3: Ch 3, 2 dc in same st as sl st, 1 sc in
each st to next corner st, 3 dc in corner st, 1 sc in next st, 3 dc in corner
st, 1 sc in each st to next corner st, 3 dc in corner st, 1 sc in next st, join
with sl st to top of ch 3, sl st in next corner dc.
Rnd 4: Ch 3, 2 dc in same (corner) dc, * 1 sc in
each st to center dc of next corner, 3 dc in next (corner) dc, repeat from *,
ending with sl st in top of ch 3, sl st in next (corner dc. Repeat round 4 until
piece measures 32 inches in length.
Edging: * 1 sc in next st, 3 dc in next st, 1 sc
in next st, repeat from * to end of round. Fasten off. Block.
