Sweater: MC (White) - 21/: ounces, (70 grams, 145 yards) Color A (Blue) - 2 ounces, (60 grams,
115 yards) Color B (Yellow) - 2 ounces, (60 grams, 115 yards)
Pants: Color A (Blue) - 4 ounces, (110 grams, 230 yards); Color B (Yellow) - 1 ounce, (30 grams, 60 yards)
Cap: MC (White) - 1 1/2 ounces, (40 grams, 85 yards) Color A (Blue) - 1
ounce, (30 grams, 60 yards) Color B (Yellow) - (20 grams, 40 yards)

Crochet hooks, sizes H (5.00 mm) and J (6.00 mm) or sizes needed for
gauge; Yarn needle; Sewing needle and thread Buttons - 5 (for Sweater) Elastic - 1 yard (for Pants);
Optional (for Bootie) - Elastic thread
Gauge: With larger size hook, in pattern, 12 sts and 15
rows = 4"
Sweater: Body - With MC and larger size hook, ch 60 loosely.
Row 1: (Right side): Sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across: 59 sc.
Note: Loop a short piece of yarn around any stitch to mark last row as right
side.
Rows 2 and 3: Ch 1, turn; sc in each st across.
Row 4: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across, changing to Color A in last sc.
To work Long double crochet (Ldc), YO, insert hook in sc 3 rows below next sc (Fig.1),
YO and pull up a loop even with last st made, (YO and draw through 2 loops on hook) twice.
Row 5: Ch 1, turn; sc in first 3 sc, (work Ldc, sc in next 3 sc) across.
Row 6: Ch 1, turn; sc in each st across, changing to MC in last sc.
Row 7: Ch 1, turn; sc in first sc, work Ldc, (sc in next 3 sc, work Ldc) across to
last sc, sc in last sc.
Rows 8 and 9: Ch 1, turn; sc in each st across.
Row 10: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across, changing to Color B in last sc.
Rows 11-13: Repeat Rows 5-7.
Rows 14-26: Repeat Rows 2-13 once, then repeat Row 2 once more.
Right Front:
Row 1: Ch 1, turn; sc in first 14 sc, leave remaining 45 sc unworked.
Row 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across, changing to Color A in last sc.
Row 3: Ch 1, turn; sc in first 3 sc, work Ldc, (sc in next 3 sc, work Ldc) twice,
sc in last 2 sc.
Row 4: Ch 1, turn; sc in each st across, changing to MC in last sc.

Back:
Row 1: With right side facing and larger size hook, join MC with slip st in next sc
on Row 26 of Body; ch 1, sc in same st and in next 30 sc, leave remaining 14 sc
unworked:
31 sc.
Row 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across, changing to Color A in last sc.
Row 3: Ch 1, turn; sc in first sc, work Ldc, (sc in next
3 sc, work Ldc) across to last sc, sc in last sc.
Row 4: Ch 1, turn; sc in each st across, changing to MC in last sc.
Row 5: Ch 1, turn; sc in first 3 sc, (work Ldc, sc in next 3 sc) across.
Rows 6 and 7: Ch 1, turn; sc in each st across.

Row 1: With right side facing and larger size hook, join MC with slip st in next sc
on Row 26 of Body; ch 1, sc in same st and in each sc across: 14 sc.
Row 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across, changing to Color A in last sc.
Row 3: Ch 1, turn; sc in first 2 sc, (work Ldc, sc in next 3 sc) across.
Row 4: Ch 1, turn; sc in each st across, changing to MC in last sc.
Row 5: Ch 1, turn; sc in first 4 sc, work Ldc, (sc in next 3 sc, work Ldc) twice, sc in
last sc.
Rows 6 and 7: Ch 1, turn; sc in each st across.

Rows 9-11: Repeat Rows 3-5.
Neck Shaping:
Row 1: Turn; slip st in first 3 sc, ch 1, sc in same st and in
last 11 sc: 12 sc.
Row 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across to last 2 sc, decrease: 11 sts.
Row 3: Ch 1, turn; sc in each st across, changing to Color A in last sc.
Row 4: Ch 1, turn; sc in first 2 sc, work Ldc, sc in next 3 sc, work Ldc, sc in
next 2 sc, decrease: 10 sts.
Row 5: Ch 1, turn; sc in each st across; finish off leaving a long end for sewing.
Sew shoulder seams.
Sleeve:
Rnd 1: With right side facing and larger size hook, join Color A with
slip st in end of Row 1; ch 1, work 24 sc evenly spaced around end of rows; join with slip
st to first sc.
Rnds 2-20: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc around; join with slip st to first sc. Finish off.
Cuff:
Rnd 1: With right side facing and larger size hook, join Color B with slip st in first sc; ch 1, sc in same st, decrease,
(sc in next sc, decrease) around; join with slip st to first sc: 16 sts.
Rnds 2-4: Ch 1, turn; sc in each st around; join with slip st to first sc. Finish off.
Repeat for second Sleeve.
Bottom Band:
Row 1: With right side facing, larger size hook and working in free loops of
beginning ch, join Color B with slip st in first ch; ch 1, sc in same ch and in
each ch across: 59 sc.
Rows 2-4: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. Finish off.
Button Band:
Row 1: With right side facing and larger size hook, join Color B with slip st in end of Row 1 on Bottom Band;
ch 1, work 36 sc evenly spaced across end of rows to Neck Shaping.
Rows 2-4: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across. Finish off.
Buttonhole Band:
Row 1: With right side facing and smaller size hook, join Color B with slip st in Row 12 of Left Front; ch 1, work
36 sc evenly spaced across end of rows.
Row 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.
Row 3: (Buttonhole row): Ch 1, turn; sc in first 6 sc, ch 1, skip
next sc (buttonhole), [sc in next 8 sc, ch 1, skip next sc (buttonhole)] 3 times, sc in
last 2 sc.
Row 4: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc and in each ch across; finish off.
Neck Band:
Row 1: With right side facing, using larger size hook and working along neck edge,
join Color B with slip st in end of Row 4 on Button Band; ch 1, sc in same row and in end
of next 3 rows, work 7 sc evenly spaced across Neck Shaping, sc in each sc across Back,
work 7 sc evenly spaced across Neck Shaping, sc in end of next 4 rows on Buttonhole Band:
33 sc.
Row 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in first sc, ch 1, skip next sc (buttonhole), sc in each sc
across.
Row 3: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc and in each ch across.
Row 4: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across; finish off. Add buttons.
Pants:
Gauge: With smaller size hook, 14 sc and 16 rows=4"
Waistband: With smaller size hook and Color B, ch 63 loosely.
Rnd 1 (Wrong side): Sc in second ch from hook and in each ch around; join with slip st
to first sc: 62 sc.
Note: Mark last round as wrong side.
Rnds 2 and 3: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc around; join with slip st to first sc.
Rnd 4: Ch 1, turn; sc in Back Loop Only of each sc around; join with slip st to
first sc.
Rnds 5 and 6: Ch 1, turn; sc in both loops of each sc around; join with slip st to
first sc. Finish off.
Body:
Rnd 1: With wrong side facing and working in Back
Loops Only on Rnd 6 of Waistband, join Color A with slip st in same st as joining; ch 1, sc in each sc increasing 4 sts evenly spaced
around; join with slip st to first sc: 66 sc.
Rnds 2-25: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc around; join with slip st to first sc; do not
finish off.
First Leg
Rnd 1: Ch 1, turn; sc in next 33 sc, leave remaining 33 sc unworked; join with slip st
to first sc.
Rnds 2-23: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc around; join with slip st to first sc.
Rnd 24: Ch 1, turn; sc in first sc, decrease, (sc in next sc, decrease) around; join with slip st to first sc, finish off: 22 sc.
Cuff:
Rnd 1: With right side facing, join Color B with slip st in same st as joining; ch 1,
sc in each st around; join with slip st to first sc.
Rnds 2-4: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc around; join with slip st to first sc. Finish off.
Second Leg:
Rnd 1: With right side facing and working in skipped sc on Rnd 25 of Body, join Color A
with slip st in first sc; ch 1, sc in same st and in each sc around; join with slip st to
first sc.
Complete same as First Leg.
Finishing:
Cut elastic 1" longer than desired measurement; overlapping ends 1/2", sew
firmly in a circle. Place elastic along wrong side of Waistband, fold Waistband to inside
over elastic and sew free loops of beginning ch to remaining free loops on Rnd 6.
Cap:
Gauge: With larger size hook, in pattern, 12 sts and 15 rows=4"
Crown:
With MC and larger size hook, ch 36 loosely.
Rows 1-17: Work same as Rows 1-17 of Sweater Body, 35 sts.
Row 18: Ch 1, turn; sc in each st across; finish off.
Back:
Row 1: With right side facing and larger size hook, skip first 12
sc and join MC with slip st in next sc; ch 1, sc in same st, work Ldc, (sc in next 3 sc,
work Ldc) twice, sc in next sc; leave remaining 12 sts unworked: 11 sts.
Rows 2 and 3: Ch 1, turn; sc in each st across.
Row 4: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across, changing to Color A in last sc.
Row 5: Ch 1, turn; sc in first 3 sc, (work Ldc, sc in next 3 sc) twice.
Row 6: Ch 1, turn; sc in each st across, changing to MC in last sc.
Row 7: Ch 1, turn; sc in first sc, work Ldc, (sc in next 3 sc, work Ldc) twice, sc in
last sc.
Rows 8 and 9: Ch 1, turn; sc in each st across.
Booties:
GAUGE: With smaller size hook, 14 sc and 16 rows = 4"
Bottom:
With Color A and smaller size hook, ch 17 loosely.
Row 1 (Right side): Sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across to last ch, 3 sc in
last ch; sc in free loops of next 15 cbs; do not join: 33 sc.
Note: Mark last row as right side.
Rows 2-9: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc across.
Finish off leaving a long end for sewing.
Thread yarn needle with end, weave through end of rows, gather tightly to close and
secure. With same end, right sides together and working through both thicknesses, sew
first 7 sc together forming instep, leave remaining sc unsewn.
Cuff:
Rnd 1: With right side facing, join Color B with slip st in center back
sc; ch I, sc in same st and in each sc around; join with slip st to first sc: 19 sc.
Rnds 2-4: Ch 1, turn; sc in each sc around; join with slip st to first sc.
Finish off.
Optional: Weave elastic thread through Rnd 1 of Cuff, tie ends in a knot and secure.
