Balloon Peel Off Die Cut Shapes; 2 Bitty Dungarees; 2 Bitty Dresses; 2 Bitty Bodies; 6 Daisy Shapes; 6 Leaf Shapes. Tools: Black Pen; PVA Glue; Cocktail Stick or similar - to apply glue; Double Sided Tape - may be preferable for some parts; Blue Ink Pad - Watercolour paints or an airbrush will do instead; Green Ink Pad; Sponge. Instructions: Sponging

Start by protecting your work surface with a scrap piece of paper. Take the two piece of backing card and one of the single fold cards. Use a sponge to dab ink from your ink pad onto the cards. You might need to dab the sponge onto the scrap paper once or twice before applying it to the card. Experiment a little to find a depth of colour that you are happy with. Cover one of the backing cards with blue ink and the other with green. Use blue ink on the single fold card being careful not to get any ink on the back of the card. Bitty Washing Line Take the pale green paper and place it on a flat surface. Place a ruler about half way across the paper. Grasp the paper next to the ruler and tear, moving the ruler as you do so. This should leave you with an uneven edge that resembles hills. If you're not happy with the result, just repeat a little lower down the paper. Use PVA glue or double sided tape to stick the green paper onto the single fold card that you have sponged blue. Tie one end of the string to one of the sticks. Use PVA glue and a cocktail stick to glue the stick to the card. Tie the string around the other stick and glue this to the card. Refer to the picture for positioning. Use the pegs to secure the bitty dungarees and the bitty dress to the string. To make the daisies glue one daisy shape on top of the other, offsetting them so that both sets of petals can be seen. Glue two leaves onto the back of each daisy. Finally glue a gold sequin to the centre of the daisy. Your daises can be secured to your cards using a dot of PVA glue. Bitty Bodies Use double sided tape or glue to stick the backing card onto the single fold card. Stick the bitty body centrally onto this. Stick the clothes onto the body, then stick on the hair. If making the hair from floss, cut the floss into 6cm lengths and wind a single strand of floss around the centre and tie it to hold the floss in place. Sperate the ends of the strands of floss then glue the centre of the hair piece onto the centre of the bitty body head. Cut the hair the length and style you wish. For the faces use a fine black pen, copy the faces shown in the picture. Practice a few times on a scrap of paper before drawing them onto the bitty bodies. Embellish your finished bitties as you choose, a peel off balloon looks great or a daisy in one corner.
