Homemade Soap

Craft Projects - Homemade Soap

This project is not true soap making but a great way to recycle soap slivers into new bars.

Materials: Plastic soap bar mold or case (oval or square); Used soap bar remains (The last part of the soap bar which you normally discard); Grater; water.

Instruction:

1. Grate soap bar remains into tiny slivers (powdery texture is good).

2. Add water, just enough to make a thick paste type of mixture.

3. Add food coloring and a few drops of perfume or potpourri oil.

4. Form into the bar shape with the mold you have chosen and allow to stay in mold until firm. Use as any soap when ready.
